    Hi guys!

If I choose to begin studying in Scotland, would I have the chance to study a year in the US without applying to the Exchange Universities of my university? So could I apply to any university I like (because I'd like to study in one, which they don't have in their program ) and would they recognise the credits I'd earn at that university?

    Thanks

I'd say you probably can't do that, they have a list of universities they're partnered with abroad because their course structure will be similar.

Are you sure? Anyone with another experience? It's because I'd love to attend University of South Florida and they simply do not have it on their list. Plus, it's not guaranteed that you gonna be accepted for that program.

    Why that exact uni?

You'll almost definitely have to choose a university that yours is partnered with, as the above poster said.

Well, it's simply my dream school.
Okay, too bad about it. Thanks to both of you, though .
