do you ever just go up to people that you dont know and talk to them? i never do it, its normally a friend of a friend. i dont think unless ive been ******ed ive walked up to someone and introduced my self

I have never done it myself but I like it when people do it to me. It shows that they are confident and know what they want. Try it sometime- as long as you don't act creepy you will probably get some good responses.

There are clubs near DAOs?
Walk up to them, stare at them and make an 'mmmmmm' noise under your breath. If that doesn't work, start slowly unbuckling your belt. A sure fire way to get noticed.

haha i was having similar conversations after that programme.
it's only really possible in an open and public space, like a club or something. sitting down at a tablewith or cornering someone isn't really the best thing to do. also, having had a drink or two does help. all that matters is that you're smiling and confident i guess. even if you talk the biggest pile of ****, it's entirely possible to develop some form of conversation with someone. i rarely do such things in a seductive way or have any ulterior motives.. it just often turns out to be good fun and jokes talking to people. it's always nice to make the transition from someone being just a face in a bar or someone you've seen around, to someone you've actually had a conversation with. getting to know people seems to be one of those naturally beneficial and pleasurable things that comes with being human.
That is the common misconception of the more shy people within our society; if you speak to someone you're automatically flirting with them. Of course - clubs is where a load of people go to pull, but some don't. Some go to enjoy themselves, meet people and make friends.
However, you can easily go to a club, speak to someone (yes, the opposite sex too!), even swap phone numbers, and have no intention of getting laid by them.

Actually I'm shy by nature but will usually still get the courage to go up and talk to girls. It's not a question of being confident, just a question of not giving a ****. It's when you take yourself too seriously and care too much about what other people think that you'll fail to get enough courage.

Come on, that's what you make the girl believe so that you can get laid. That's the whole point of flirting and seduction, especially here in the UK where people are wary of being too open and honest. Going up to a girl and telling her that you think she's hot and you'd like to know if there's a chance of banging her will not get very far, yet acting all friendly while still thinking the exact same thing, will bring more success.
It's stupid but that's how people work.
