Being a socialist and trade unionist, Gove isn't my favourite person in the world. But he's spot on in appointing Peter Clark, former head of the Metropolitan Police's Counter Terrorism Branch, to investigate the extremist Islamic forces in Birmingham who have sought to to turn state-funded schools into madrassas,

Now if only he could admit that it was the policy of academies that opened us up to this in the first place.

He'd outsource all schools to terrorists, so long as none of the staff were in trade unions.

Islamist plot: six schools face Ofsted special measures

Six schools implicated in the so-called 'Trojan Horse' plot by extremists to 'Islamise' secular state education face being placed in special measures
Many of the schools affected have converted to academies, greatly limiting the council’s control over how they are run.
So it's not just acadamies being affected - I'd expected that local authority controlled schools would have had sufficient sane oversight to prevent islamist takeover, but apparently not.

How is this possible? Think it is propaganda.

This is incredible. And people are still in denial over it.

There is no "right to teach". Teachers who make girls sit at the back of the class, refuse to teach parts of the syllabus because of their personal beliefs or invite speakers affiliated with terror organisations to speak at assemblies SHOULD BE STRUCK OFF and not be allowed to teach in state schools. Simples.

I couldn't find another thread about it on TSR. Is there one? Or does nobody care?
