Hi I am only 15 and was previously issued with a caution for assaulting a police officer, I am extremely embarrassed by this and can't help feeling that I have ruined my life. This caution is my first offence and will be my last, this is also extremely out of character for me. When I leave school I really want to study law and have been previously working very hard to get good results in my exams which I achieved and now I feel that my chances of even attending university are over, will I still be able to pursue a career in law even with this caution?

I doubt it, I had one at 17 for fighting, and I have been told it would be okay. Plus under the DBS system all cautions involving minor assaults are wiped
