Hi, ok so I'm applying to do Adult Nursing, and I've [only] received offers from Surrey and Hertfordshire. I know for sure that I want to go to Surrey and I want to place it as my Firm. However, after a lot of thought, I do not want to go Hertfordshire as it is very close to home, and I prefer Surrey's course structure to Hertfordshire's.
But I know that I have to apply for a Firm and an Insurance. So Herts will be my Insurance.
My actual question is;
If I don't get into my Firm, but get higher grades than my insurance, can i go into clearing, or do I have any options to apply to another uni that is different from my Insurance?
It says on the ucas track that you are expected to enrol at the college, should you not meet the entry requirements for your Firm offer.
Thanks for any advice
Why are there so many?
