Best bet is play 5 a side to begin with. There's more of a range of skill there.

Practice keep ups in your own time - that will help with ball control. Even kicking a ball against a wall & trying to hit a certain spot will help with your passing & shooting.

Dribble with the ball, do some little exercises to improve your control.

Play 5 a side & that will hopefully improve your skill up to Sunday league level.

I I can't join a Sunday League team because half of the people on them used to pick on me in school.?
Surely there is atleast (20-30?) minimum 5 a side teams where you live. 15 people each means around about 450 players, so you got picked on by around 450 people. What were people queuing up for their turn?

Seriously though practice in your own time and join a sunday league team, problemo solved.
