All students in my school must do 9 GCSEs; no more, no less. 6 of these are compulsory and 3 are chosen by the student. I recently chose my 3 options: Geography, History and French. However, I am really confused as I am wondering if Geography is taken by universities and colleges as a soft subject. I am really good at Geography and have been predicted an A-A*. I can still alter my options but I need to hurry so that I can still get a space for the course I wish to attend. Could you please tell me:

    - If Geography is a soft subject?
    - If the combination of my three options isn't good?
    - What careers follow?
    - If it is really important to pick triple science if you possibly want to become a doctor? (I am not sure of the career I want to pursue)

Thank you so much in advance.

No geography is not a soft subject, in fact it is seen as very good
The 3 subjects you are taking are good and will be fine, remember unis don't look at what GCSE's you take, just the grades
I didn't take triple science as only 30 people in my year could and i'm sure that won't hinder your chances, as long as you do great in core and additional i don't see the problem
If you won £30,000, which of these would you spend it on?
