Can anyone else not study without the TV?

This is going to sound like a pathetic excuse for having the TV on while studying, but I HAVE to have the TV on in the background or else I can't study and I get bored and I stop after about 2 minutes. For some reason I can just concentrate so much better having the tv on and having something going on while I'm doing it which is probably really not helping my revision, but even music doesn't help! Has to be like the sound of people talking, is anyone else like this?

Depends how hard I am studying. If its just relaxed note taking, working through something easy then I will have the tv on. If its something I actually have to think hard about, all noise must cease.

I can't concentrate unless there is total silence around me. Your habit seems weird but if it helps you to study then its all good.
No I can't focus if anything's on and I'm trying to understand something plus I'm very easily distracted. I only really have the TV on when I'm working through questions :smile:
