Hey guys. Currently doing my AS level in Music and am doing "Orchestral Music" and "Jazz, Rock and Pop" from the anthology as my set works for the exam on the 12th May. Revised by following through the scores, reading the notes and analyzing the scores as much as possible, but attempted a past paper today and didn't have a clue with any of the questions. It's really knocked my confidence and the exam is coming up fast. Any suggestions on ways to really refine the content and be able to answer the questions? Or if you've already done AS-Level Music then any advice on revising set works?

Hey there, you seem to do all the right things already however firstly don't panic, secondly I'd look at the past paper and literally go technique and device spotting through all the set works whilst marking up the chords and progressions. Also make sure you know what imitation, antiphony ( all those common devices) and all Italian terms on the scores ( seems small but under exam pressure!).
