Today I witnessed one of the most disgusting things ever. Someone picked up a piece of butter and ate it. By itself.
Is this a normal thing to do? Does anyone here eat butter like that?

I used to melt butter into a bowl and dip random food into it, and then drink the dregs left.

I'm aware how vile that is.

I do sometimes, only if there is a bit of rogue butter left on the knife though, not a regular occurrence.

I can't fathom how some people get by without eating butter, cooking with margarine is just ****ing wrong.

Ew, having butter on bread/with meal is one thing, but on its own.

I know someone who eats it out of the tub. Not sure how, I think it's awful on bread, let alone on it's own

Of course I cook with it - but it's horrible on its own or on toast/sandwiches

Fair enough - It's just there are people who even try to make cakes and things with margarine and then try to convince you they don't taste like dust... not happening.
