Myself and two friends are trying to find accommodation for next year in Aberdeen as we are being moved out of Uni Halls at the end of this year.
We've gone to see two places available for rent that suited us and they both became unavailable within minutes of us showing up. We hoped that more and more properties would become available and that eventually we'd find something but there hasn't really been anything for the last couple of weeks. No one else that we know of within university has had any luck either except those who have set up contracts with UNITE etc. However friends from all other unis seemed to have their accommodation sorted by February. Any advice from people in other years that have done this before would be awesome. We're not too picky other than it has to be HMO licensed and kinda close (half an hour walk) to Foresterhill Hospital or University campus. Any help is much appreciated Thanks Xx

You could try some websites like spareroom and whatever else. Seems like you've just got to keep checking with individual letting agents who cater for students and hopefully you'll find somewhere. Just got to make sure you're not being too picky as you say. Good luck!
