Maradona's goal against England looked good, but I didn't see it live because I wasn't born. It's just not the same when you know the goal is coming though. Cambiasso's is definitely one of my favourites.

    This one was good:

Then there's this one, don't know if he meant it...!

Also, this is from the Copa America rather than the World Cup, but my jaw literally dropped when I saw it during the match. I was thinking "What on earth is he doing?!... Oh."

it's funny that in this compilation, "pele's top 5 world cup goals" there's one where he doesn't even score a goal

    i liked this one too

\Lahm vs Costa Rica was decent albeit not my favourite, Ronaldo's two against Germany in 2002 are up there for stage.

Controversial but Maradona's second goal against England in the 86 World Cup takes some beating, also Michael Owen's goal in the 98 World Cup.

I forgot it was in the world cup, feels so long ago that I presumed it was Euro 2008 (didn't remember who it was against). But I remember thinking at the time... WTF, that is perfection. Loved it.

and lol at the first Pele one, I always presumed he scored it. When they're showing highlights, they always cut it off just before you see it go wide. Considering he missed, I'm surprised people still make such a big deal out of it, by today's standards it is nothing special.

The final pass is a thing of beauty, as well as the finish but the best things about this goal are the way Cannavaro charges out after heading the ball and the run from Del Piero to get to the box.
