im on time for lessons
im polite to teachers
i do my hmk and so my best in lessons with no messing about...

Are your parents more specific about why you're immature? Is it because you laugh at jokes about willies and farts? Because that's unlikely to change however "mature" you get.

i suppose its because at school im very shy, when teachers talk to me...i tend to stutter or something ( i do have a stutter) and i laugh a bit when im embarased...like giggle a bit, but since im shy i just smile at them if they say something to me. but i do talk to them...im usually shy(er) when my parents are there. im fine without my parents but if they are there im different..which is prob why they think im immature...but im fine without them...i dont know why but even with them there ive felt that i am immature since i dont do anything stupid ...

Really dont have to be anon for this! I think its more common than you think. My parents still think (a year after leaving home, living in another country) I am still bit immature (mainly because I tend to lose my keys and not do the washing up). Your folks might be mixing up confidence with maturity and thats not fair on you.If you believe you are fine, then ask them point blank what they think you should do and be vocal about any problems you have.

You have to be over 21 to be considered mature by a uni so don't worry. :P
