    There are 2100 story books in our local library. If 30% more story books are bought then,


    (1) What will be the total number of story books in the library now .

    (2) Find out the additional numbers of story books bought.

    Take 30% of 2100 and add it on.

    2) Answer to 1) - 2100

    I find the order of the questions weird though as you should have used the answer from question 2 in question 1.
    At least that's how i'd do it.


    You want to find 30% or 2100. (what percentages do you know that you could use to make up 30%?)
    Then add this to 2100.

    The answer the to the first bit is Q2.
    The answer to the second bit is Q1.
