FP1 - What is the step by step method? Watch

2. In AQA FP1 there are four numerical integration methods:

Newton-Raphson, Linear Interpolation, Interval Bisection or Eulers Method.

Just to clarify, Euler's method is used for solving first order differential equations. It is not a method of integration. Since this is a differential equation, you will want to use Euler's method.

Newton-Raphson, linear interpolation, and interval bisection are used for finding roots of equations.

Numerical integration methods include: trapezium rule, Simpson's rule.
