Hand blisters

I've played an irregular amount of tennis recently, a level which will become normality for the foreseeable future as i start playing tennis on a regular basis again. However, i got a blister three days ago. Played again today, and the skin has re-opened. Are there effective creams, for instance, that help dealing with blisters, or is it a case, that the more i play tennis, the less i will get blisters due to my hand being 'climatised' as such...., through the playing of heightening amounts of tennis....

My racket grip is OK, but i will look into getting one which is more hand-friendly....

Should be fine, just let it dry and air.
Hi there

Try being a harpist - horrible regular and blood blisters 24/7 urgh! :P

Whatever you do, ignore people who tell you to use White Spirit to get rid of blisters. It doesn't work, it just makes your hands softer and means you get even more blisters ON TOP of the ones you already have.

All you can do is make sure you keep your hands as dry as possible, don't apply any creams (they just make it worse!), and if necessary wear a thin cotton glove when you play to reduce friction until your skin hardens.

Eventually you'll end up with very *ahem* attractive callouses instead of blisters, and they won't hurt at all.
Will be worth it in the end, promise
