Win a million pounds. Although I would love to go to Oxbridge, it is surely not the be all end all - and there are plenty of other universities in the UK, and in the world, that would serve just as well. In the long run, it wouldn't make as huge a difference whether you went to Oxbridge or another very good university, but money will last

I would choose one million pounds and return to my homeland and subsequently i would "live it up", more so in India of most places.

With an oxbridge offer, it is still not certain if I would get a good enough job which would pay me well. I have seen many ox and cam graduates looking for a job for many a year.

I would choose an oxbridge offer because if i would win the million pound everyone would say 'oh you didn't do something for getting that money', but when gaining a place at oxbridge they would have to admit that i am not as stupid as i am supposed to be.

Oxbridge offer, because I'd rather stimulate my brain into productivity than simply satisfy irrelevant luxurious desires.

i'd rather have offers of other unis other than oxbridge :P

I'd rather go to a US univeristy than win the money.

Reply 11

Get the money and run.....I dont think I'd actually like it at Oxbridge...I'd feel so inadequate...lol

Reply 12

I would win 1 million pounds and get into UCL

Reply 13

Million quid please. OK, so it's a bit silly cos I'm already at Cambridge so don't need an offer, but TBH it's just a ****ing university.

I would have the £1 million and then work my arse off to go to Oxford/Cambridge, but i would also be happy with another uni  I would prefer to work to get into good unis, rather than for something that is unearned.

One million pounds, please and thank you.

I'd rather have the money thank you. I can't believe how many people would rather go to oxbridge than have money handed on a plate. As musicboy said it's only a bloody university. Oxbridge doesn't have the massive advantage over unis like it used to. Although it still does have an advantage, it's not the end if you go to a top 5 uni for your subject rather than oxbridge. It's not detrimental to your life.

The money! An Oxford / Cambridge offer would be nice but there are loads of other good universities in the UK and i could live comfortably with no debt etc.
