Other than being a lawyer in the US, would the JD give u an advantage if u practice in the UK or go overseas to HK or singapore?

Is there any international/transnational type law firms that would like people with both the JD and LLB?

Getting a JD from Columbia State Uni, although wouldnt actually work as a qualifying degree, would certainly be impressive to any law firm.
