sherwood hall???
ive been offered my accomodation at sherwood hall, just wondering what its like?? Ive got shared study but now im worried it might be too small. Do you think its too late to ask to change it?? I looked on the week one site n all it said was that sherwood doesnt look v nice but has good parties!

sherwood has hall parites???????? not ne more it doesnt lol they've axed nearly all of them.
I've never been in a shared study, but i doubt it will be too small. I get the impression that it's a normal sized room without a desk (so more floor space) and then a large room with 2 desks in to share. A lot of people have said that shared studies are the way to go because you have a sociable lounge area to share. xx
The only halls to have (proper) parties outside of week one are Hu Stu and Lenton & Wortley (if you count The Big Bang as one)
There is the party on the downs, but that's hardly a hall party, and also there's the Jubilee spring party, but again, that's between two halls.
Even halls having parties in week one are few and far between now, when it used to be the exception not to have a party in your hall.

Oh and abi, you're lucky: I applied for shared study as my first choice and didnt get it grr (lol). I here that sherwood were the karni champs last year, so we're going to have a lot to live up to!

Worst comes to worst us Sherwood guys will have to go to other halls parties

I had shared study last year (sherwood Gblock downstairs!!!) And I really enjoyed it. I only got woken up once in the entire time by a party happening in the study. I found it bigger than what my friends had, and it helped me keep everything clean, having them separate!
Not at all, the wardrobe door opens to 90 degrees and you just stand in front of the other door of the wardrobe/further back and you can see fine ... jjst like inside any wardrobe.
