[EDEXCEL] C1 Formula Booklet

Hello, i was just wondering why the formulae to work out the surface area of a sphere and the curved surface of a cone were given in C1 Maths.

I've never seen any questions on this, nor is it covered in my text book. Should i expect questions that need me to use these formulas?

Thanks!

Thanks!
I haven't seen any C1 questions on this stuff but in C2 they do ask about volumes and surface areas of shapes when it comes to applied differentiation.
