St Andrews fee status

Hey there I have couple of questions...

I have been classified as a home/EU student because of my Irish passport but I live in England. I was wondering if anyone knew whether I am eligible for my fees to be paid by the Scottish government?

Only SAAS can tell you that. But having looked over their eligibility criteria they do not say that you are ineligible if you have lived in England. The requirement is that you are ordinarily resident in the EU or EEA for the three years prior to the start of your degree. After all, the UK as a whole is an EU state, not its constituent countries. But if you are unsure, ring them and clarify.
