Reaction to Orange Juice

Rather a peculiar thread, perhaps, but here I go...

It seems that every time I drink orange juice, I seem to have a varying type of reaction to it. For example, I had a glass about an hour ago and for the last 45 minutes or so I have been feeling slightly dizzy. That's the worst reaction I've had so far; usually it's just a slight tummy ache.

I'm pretty sure it's the orange juice, but I'm doubting that because there are no outward symptoms of my drinking it (I've not turned bright red or anything).

Has anyone else had similar symptoms and, if so, do you consider yourself to be 'allergic' to it?

Thanks.
Nope! But if you feel like that after drinking it then don't drink it at all.
Mate of mine is allergic to OJ, he goes crazy for about half hour and then is violently ill for a day or so.

So you could be of that inclination.
I'm allergic to OJ as well...I can have just one cup and I get bad tummy aches, I think its too asidic for my body :frown: but I just love OJ
i sometimes get headaches after for example foods like oranges, apples and pineapples.

Well, the problem is that it tastes so yummy, doesn't it! But you're right, mysterious lady, I think I should stop drinking it altogether :frown: . Perhaps it is just too acidic for me as Astraea says. Thanks everyone for the replies, I'm glad I'm not the only one with this problem.
I can't drink orange or apple juice. I can't eat green apples either and its now extending to green/red ones too. If I do I just get the most painful stomach cramps, which is a shame because I love apples!
see if the same happens with Tropicana or something (unless that's what you're drinking), could be the preservative or that kinda fuzz

i get the same thing but only sometimes its weird. IT can if really bad make my gag and puts loads of saliva in my mouth so i have to spit it out. I solved it by just making it weaker half water so it was not so bad on my stomack or with loads of ice and when it melts a bit its fine
