basically, i've found this nutrition/metabolism/excretion semester really quite difficult, more so than neuro. I feel like im getting to grips with the little details (cell mechanisms/transporters) but struggling to tie to loose ends.

is there maybe a decent website online with adequate depth? I don't mean something to replace textbooks etc but just supplement it, like a summary. Right, now i feel very under confident and not prepared for my exams which are only 2 weeks away!

Hm, I don't know of any good summaries but I found the chapters in Pocock and Richards really really good. They explain all the relevant stuff really clearly. It's the only book I really used for Physiology, and their GI section is very well explained.

Maybe your Uni library has it?

Are you first year, like me? I used Tortora, and it seemed like a fantastic complement to my life sciences sessions.GI has surprisingly been my favourite part of medicine so far this year, even more so than the heart or lungs, and I found it far easier than my immunology case unit or my embryology unit.
