I am really struggling with the unit 1 and unit 2 exams, i am only getting d's and c grades when i am aiming for an a, does anyone have any tips for structuring answers to the questions in the exams? By the way, the books I am studying are: about a boy, of mice and men and an inspector calls

Plan first ! I always spider graph.
Then when you know what points you want to make, put them in a logical linking order.

Start each paragraph with a summary of your point.
Then make your point with evidence.
Then conclude each paragraph with a summary of how your evidence and point have been made ie: These quotes clearly reveal that ...

... then next point / paragraph .....
