Philosophy of Science: LSE v. UCL

Hi everyone,

The title says it all.

Have some of you done or are you doing (the MSc! in) Philosophy of Science at LSE or UCL?
- Impressions?
- Pros and cons?
- Suggestions?

I got a conditional offer from both and can't seem to make up my mind.

Although I'm still waiting to see if and from where I'll get funding,
I feel like I already need to know which uni is my favoured choice.

Please help me, or at least let me know anything important? ^^

I've already visited UCL (for my interview) but haven't seen LSE yet.

Course wise, both are good at what they offer.
Both are prestigious. Etc. In other words, they compare pretty well.

I don't really buy the whole "LSE is for snobs and UCL is for creative people" argument, so please - inform me! :>

Job prospects? PhD prospects?
Intellectually challenging? Fair examinations?
Autonomous study v. parroting? Lots of projects/assignments?
Networking opportunities? Healthy social environment?
Those are things I want to know more about.

bump. I'd like to know the answer to that too.
