Hey ComebackQueen,
Just got back from my interview, I sat with the manager and he went through a form of about 20 questions it was stuff like:
what do you think you'll enjoy most and least about the job?
what do you like about H samuel products?
how would you deal with a customer's complaints?
how would your friends and colleges describe you?
Describe a successful team you worked in.
How did you feel the last time someone wound you up?

Just stuff about your personality, strengths and weaknesses, dealing with customers.

Not sure if i'll get the job, they said they had 3 vacancies but a lot of calls and interest.

Hope that helps a bit
Good Luck for next week

If asked 'what do you like H Samuels products', a good answer would refer to the quality and personality of the product. If you mention something such as 'well it is a specialist jewellers in an age when everyone is trying their hand at it i.e. Asda', you shall do well. I ran a Jewellery counter at Asda, and I can confirm the H Samuels product is a lot higher quality. Surprise!!!

I think if you referred to H Samuel as a specialist jewellers they'd wonder if you actually knew anything about jewellery.

If you get a chance maybe you should mention the fact that (and this holds true for stores near me, not sure if it's nation wide) they generally have open shop fronts, so it's quite open and friendly. Well you can infer what you like from the way their shops are set out but say something positive about the working environment it creates.
