Here's one I prepared earlier. (pdf file) Well, actually, it's from Edexcel's examzone, but it does the job. Like Juno said you won't necessarily get a grade on your results slip, it depends on your centre, so taking a calculator/learning how to use the one on your phone might be useful if you want to know your grade straight away. Grade boundaries are usually on the back of the slip for Edexcel; OCR give a little letter next to the result so you don't have to work stuff out. Obviously the different exam boards have a different look, but essentially they contain the same information.

Just for reference, with AQA they give you the UMS mark for each module. You then need to look on the back of the slip in order to convert it into a grade. There are different tables to do this because some exams have a different total UMS compared to others.
Anyone want me to upload an OCR one?
Looking at those slips have given me butterflies.

I have an Edexcel one and an OCR one if anyones interested. I remember last year I was really intrigued to see what they looked like!

Yes, I was sad enough to scan the results into my computer when I got them

(No-one comment on how close I was to the lower grade in all my subjects! Just goes to show how one or two marks make all the difference.)

1st one is AQA
2nd Edexcel
That second one is AQA not Edexcel.

Thanks for uploading those images, they were helpful.

I am with AQA, and I do not know if my school 'cashed-in', so I will bring my calculator!

Thanks for the advise

Here's an OCR one if anyone's interested. The Critical Thinking was cashed in but the Chemistry wasn't. Also, I did 'old syllabus' Critical Thinking which has only one unit worth 300 points. Now it has 3 units, like all the other AS Levels.

Whoops
You mean the first one, AQA not OCR, but yeah, thanks for reminding

I never scanned in my OCR one, cos it was, well, critical thinking

*Liana* - you got 300/300 for CT?!?! Wow!

Aren't you doing A Levels though? So you would already have an AS slip? And you're school will cash in A Level results, surely...
Confused...

I was thinking that too

And also, would you have an example... from you GCSE's? That's going to be the same?
Or at least mine are! (GCSE and as from jan the same!)

No, cos at GCSE you just get a list of grades, whereas at AS/A2 you get individual module results and so on. It can get confusing.

Ooh I must also mention the rather exciting heat sensitive spot you get at the top of Edexcel results slips! I know theyre on the GCSE ones too, but I didnt do any Edexcel GSCE's so it was a novelty for me last year! It doesnt work now though cos I played with it too much :frown:

The heat sensitive spot fades from pink to white when you breathe or put your finger over it - it's sensitive to heat :p: .

Edexcel gives you a grade on the result statement, so you won't have to calculate it. Not sure about the other exam boards though.
