Is percentage purity always calculated using moles??

You've found the percentage of iron in the sample of hydrated iron sulfate, that's not the same thing as purity :p:

Multiply the moles of Fe2+ you've calculated by the Mr of FeSO4.7H2O - not just iron :smile:
