I know what you mean. There are loads of people on this forum who claim to be open-minded, but if you hold an opinion they don't share they become aggressive very easily.

Because in real life they are too introverted to do it so it just spews out in one long stream of gushing internet bravado.

What I find amusing is the number of people who have a generalised view of TSR which they conveniently don't fall into. No one on TSR is like the people on TSR.

This.

"Why does everyone else generalise so much?"

The stereotype of TSR users is nerdy, awkward, sexually frustrated teenage boys pretending to be worldly wise university students, or at the very least university students with the outlook of nerdy, awkward, sexually frustrated teenage boys.

So if you're one of these, then you are the stereotype.

I think people believe themselves to be untouchable because they are typing behind the safety of the screen rather than face to face. As a result they become much more aggressive and opinionated believing that they can judge people however they like.

Because a few posters on this site are nothing more than neck bearded degenerate weirdos and deserve the **** they get.

Basically specky keyboard warriors who would squeal and cry their glasses off if somebody so much as touched them. I'd love to meet a few posters here on TSR in real life and see if they still said stuff to my face. They'd more likely **** their pants as soon as I got into their face.
