Lindop House

anybody been offered lindop house?

I got my notice through yesterday, even though I wanted en-suite! Ah well, i'll have to live with it!

I'm in Flat 8, room E. How 'bout you? Be nice to find out whether I'm sharing with anyone!

not sure what room, but know ive got lindop house. there are no inside pics fo this building, so has any pics, would appreciate if you could post them up. Really want to know what it the rooms look like!

erm...got my contract thingy but theres no mention o any room numbers or anything. where should it be written? maybe i just missed it?

it's on the bit that you sign and send one to them and keep the other. It says something along the lines of "the room ... (letter) in the flat ...(number)...in the residence known as Lindop House"

they don't. They share a flats and it's communal kitchen/bathroom/living area, but have their own room.

i think there is an elevator there, it would suck to have to carry all our stuff up a million stairs!

also.. does anybody know if we're allowed mini fridges or anything?

it says in the regulations that we can't store or prepare food in bedrooms. One of the main reasons I wanted en-suite was for the personal fridge. ah well, lets hope the fridge in the kitchen is big enough.

I'm definitely gonna have a fruit bowl and my cake tins in my room - don't want anyone nicking my lovely baked goodies! I don't think they'll have a problem with you having some food in there, just don't get a fridge.
