Reading uni accommodation re visitors

Hey,

so I've put Reading as my first choice and I've applied for premier ensuite halls. When I was at the open day I heard you could only have outside visitors once a month? Does this still apply? I have friends in London who might want to stay and it might be awkward if I can only have one visitor per month. If it still applies is there a way to get round it?

A lot of uni halls chat a lot of **** about people coming to stay, but in reality nobody checks and nobody cares.

It is a rule of 3 nights max at a time but no more than 8 nights a month. And one at a time. As a general rule however as long as they don't cause any issues you should be fine. My partner was here for over a week last month and will be next. We have never had any issues and most of the staff know he isn't a student!
