I can speak Mandarin though it's somewhat different from my mother tongue.
My hometown is a little town in Anhui province,which located in eastern China.

I wish I could speak Mandarin fluently, I only really know conversational Mandarin and my pinyin is so bad sometimes.

NO....May be it is the southeastern Chinese take the major part of the people who immigrated to foreign countries in the past 100 years that Hokkien ,Hakka and Cantonese are famous as Chinese languages over Euorope.
