Accommodation question for experienced Soton students!

Hello all

So basically I'm hoping to study Zzoology at Soton and have the offer (so scared I won't meet the AAB grades they're asking for.) My question is, when should I start booking accommodation? And how does the booking process.... proceed, at Southampton.

Also, would it be okay to book accommodation after June 20th (my last exam) or would leaving it that late have a negative effect?

The deadline for halls applications was the beginning of August last year, I know this because I missed it. I have no idea when it is this year but it should be around the same time, although I'd be safe and apply early. Can't give you any advice on the process, but I would do it ASAP if I were you. It's not first come-first served based, and they want all people to have seen their A level results before applying for accommodation. You can safely apply in July, but don't procrastinate it.
