Not neccessarily. Consumer confidence is ever changing, I mean 9-11, a recession, and most recently though not as much, the train bomb.
in the long term lets say 10 years it is very difficult for the top 100/150 companies to be losing money, this has been shown from past 50 years till now and the ftse index is still rising pretty steadily

My dad is off to Afghanistan in a week and he gets two bodyguards and 2 armed trucks. How cool is that and he gets £500 danger money per day!

Which is pretty good when he's off for 4 weeks including the weekends.
Gotta love the UN!

it's what all the newspapers are saying, warfare is becoming privatised. U can make about £1000 if your ex special forces.

This is true, my dad is ex RAF Police and for his expertise he's getting paid a ton, sad so many people had to die for it though

Yeah I'm worried but he used to live in Yemen during the wars and he's best friends with some pretty cut throat people. He seems just like my daddy to me but I think he's killed people...which scares the crap outta me...not as much as when he's angry with me. Now THAT is scary

My parents bought a three bedroom house with no garden but a double garage and carport off the bank in a little town called Arundel, West Sussex. For a little under £100k. It's on the market now for £550k

hahahahahahahhahaha

oh and yeah invest in the south east, buy it off the bank and fix it up
The SE is already too expensive, you want to invest round here, where I live property prices have more thsn doubled over the past seven years so that means surrounding areas are bound to rise soon, but you can still buy property there for under 100k, so it needs less capital.
