Resits at Loughborough!!
Hullooooo! This is for all you returners or anyone with any information!
Resitting a Chemistry and a Physics module at some point between 30th August and 8th September... just a few quick questions!!
*When do i find out when the exams are? Presume it will appear on learn at some point?!
*The format of the exam will be same as the ones in May? (We had some change format from last years paper - but i presume they won't change them for resits...?)
*Will it be same areas covered? (Lol, wishful thinking!) Or will it be like we did topic A in May... so the resit will be topic B?.... Or will it just be anything?

sorry mate, have no idea. the best thing maybe to phone exams office or your department and they maybe able to advise you on the dates and exam format

sometimes you havent got time for anything and stuff, like some ppl leave rev too late but dont be caught out especially if your course is hard.
for some people, it wasnt their day ie exam wasnt to their favor. Just hope and pray it would be your day.

Yep I have had 1 and then one next thursday. was ok. Like you probably would have been better first time round if it hadnt been the day after another one. I had 6 exams in the first 2 weeks and then a project in the 3rd exam week. was pretty cramped exam period.
Gits eh!!
- I had a resit in second year, averaged 55% for the year, but with a bit of work averaged 64% in third year which put me well on the way for a good 2.1 so its not all doom and glloom!
I did work my little socks of lasts year however, so im glad it did pay off otherwise my final year might have been a bit of a doss/fail year.

Anyone know when the resit results come out? I can seem to find that out on the FAQ.
18th I think. 2 weeks today.
