The Student Room Group

Re-Application question

Hi, I'm going into to 2nd year and was just wondering a couple of things.

I originally applied through Student Finance NI, and where I am studying (In London) was classed as a private institution (I think that was the phrase used) so I didn't quite get the full tuition fees covered and had to use a large chunk of my savings. Could I theoretically apply to student finance England for the full tuition fees for 2nd year?

Thanks in advance
Hi there.

How much tuition fees are your institution actually charging you? Student finance England are able to award up to £9000 pounds maximum.

As you had originally applied to SFNI you should continue to apply to them for the duration of your course. If you were ever to begin a new course you could then apply to SFE as a new student if you also resided permanently in England.

Thanks
