Re sitting A Levels

I'm sorry you've been waiting so long for a reply.

As far as I'm aware there isn't really a set limit to the number of times you can re-take an exam, I myself have taken some of my A-level exams several times. Some things you should be aware of though are that universities prefer you to achieve your grades in one-sitting, though you may get away with one re-take of your AS exams depending on how your school issues your results. Another thing is cost, you may find you have to pay for re-takes.

Also I would suggest discussing this with somebody at your school, I know that there has been some changes to A-level exams lately and that may mean that a restriction has been put in place in regards to the number of times an exam can be sat. Therefore it would be worth while speaking to your examination officer or even a teacher who may be able to help.
