Parent help

All of the details needed are done for my student finance application but just wanted to ask a question before its confirmed.

In the financial info section it asks for information about father/mother.
My parents are divorced/separated but I live with my mum and her partner moved in with us, whilst my dad lives in a different country and we're not in contact with him. SO my question is who do I enter as my father?

My mum has been with her partner for over 7 years, but he is currently unemployed.

It's how they calculate your household income, rather than your relationships with the adults in the house. You need to give your mother's partner and not your father in that section of the application. As he's unemployed, his benefit income is unlikely to be a disadvantage.
