Hi! Does anybody have any ideas of what might come up on the AS Level chemistry 2014? I know we can't know for sure but if something has come up every year I'm going to assume its going to come up again... 'Relative atomic mass' seems to be quite popular...

For Unit 1, there's nearly always a question on
- explain why so and so has this high/low boiling point or melting point.
- predict the shape of this molecule....draw it
- explain the trend in this period
- oh usually a question on mass spec, sometimes longer questions asking to explain all the steps, sometimes shorter ones asking about one particular step like how is the m/z calculated

There's loads to be honest! I'd just do past papers, after doing quite a few you realise there's not much they can ask! I'm more worried about unit 2 tbh!

I agree, unit one is pretty predictable but unit two is so hard :eek3:
