Poker Night theme ideas...

Right, I regularly hold social poker gatherings and stuff and they're almost always themed. We've had the classic black tie and cocktail dresses etc... and I'm stuck for a theme.

RULES: We're all skint, so nothing that's going to cost much in the way of £££££££££££ and we don't particularly like playing poker dressed as novelty vegetables etc.

I've done that before......wasn't such a good idea once I got drunk....

Anyways, moving on from that, how bouts a beach theme, all turn up in beach gear.....just make sure you have the heating on :p:

Can you imagine the Jedi Council playing poker? It wouldn't be a case of who had the best cards... it would be who could perform the best Jedi Mind Trick...

drunken poker?
poker using chips (food) as chips?
strip poker?
early morning poker?
playing poker whilst wearing silly hats?
poker whilst standing on chairs with one leg?

an all day poker session? (dawn till next dawn, or dusk until next dusk or what you will)

So expensive, but when you consider they're almost indestructible and have the opportunity to literally put them in the washing machine... they're more of a long term investment.
