Switching courses at UCL
Hello guys!
I'm currently holder and firmer of an offer to study at UCL, but became quite unhappy with the course, and looking forward to ask for a switch. As an International, I will receive my exams results earlier than the 'results day' (late June), and so, I'm asking if I should ask to change once I got my results or before, to maximize my chances to see my changing accepted?
Note: it is a switch within the same department.

If you are wanting to change to a different course but remain in the same department you will need to talk to that department about your options. You may be able to arrange to switch courses before you start at UCL, or you might have to wait until the start of the academic year. Either way, remember there is no guarantee that you will be able to switch - it will depend on if there is space on the new course and if you meet the entry requirements etc. The best thing to do would be to get in touch with the department to find out their policy on switching courses. You can find contact details for all UCL departments on our website.
