Emergency contraceptive

This is really for anyone who has taken the emergency contraceptive, did it affect your period, ie did it come earlier or later than usual?

I've had to take it recently and have been looked forward to my period coming so much ever!

well to be honest the emergency after morning pill does not do your body much good at all and you do not want to have to regulary take it

mine came around the expected time, if its 5 days or so late then maybe take a test to make sure it worked? but im sure ur fine!

To be honest, there was no need for your comment, it didn't answer her question.

I've never taken it myself so I can't comment personally, but as I understand it it can sometimes affect your period as it is a large dose of hormones. Take a test if your period is due and you're worried.

I've taken it twice and my period came earlier than usual, just a few days after id taken it.

I've had to take it twice within the last menstrual cycle so i guess it could come when ever, but as long as it comes.

When I took it, I was warned that my period could come early, late, or on time. But if you're really late it's best to go back and do a rpegnancy test.

I took it once and cant remember having any problems with it, it's got a high success rate though so I'm sure you wont be pregnant, try not to worry because that can make your period late as well.
