Hi, I'm sitting this paper again as only got a C last time around :/
Any clues of what is most likely to appear on the paper and how much is the correct amount to write for the 12 and 24 mark questions?

This is what I do; (though I'm not a comfortable A or anything)

12 Marks; at least one side of A4, assuming you write 9-12 words a line. More is, of course, better. You need to include 3 different factors to get above 6 marks, and include links to gain above 9 marks. (Although consistent 9s are an A)

24 Marks; spend more time on the given factors, I'd say 2 sides to 2 and 1/2 (although my teacher says 3!). Historiography is good to get good grades; just pepper your answer with facts. You need links too.

Okay thanks Would you say 4 points in detail with good quality would be enough for the 12 marks?
And would 3/4 points for each side of the argument be enough for 24 marks?

You only need three for all 12 marks, and it depends for the 24 marks. Most important for full marks is having prodigal intellect, so I think in that case you really either got it or you don't.

There is ridiculous amounts to learn!

Maybe the directory will come up? Didn't come up last year, I think.

24 marker on the NCA? Specific terror question?

Shots in the dark though

Idk, I don't really tend to bother with Unit 3 myself.

Are you learning the info now?

I'm not bothered about the content, I'm bothered about the fact that it's bloody difficult! I think it will be okay so long as the 12 marks are easy. It's pretty unusual to get a difficult 24 mark for French Revolution. (TOUCH WOOD)

The timing also makes the exam very challenging

I came very close to my first hands-free orgasm with the 2 + 4 twelve markers!!!

The 24s, not so much. Napoleon was a pretty nice one, although I found it difficult to think of an economic reform before 1804. The Unit 2 one was O.k. For me, I got enough different points I think. (Think).

What were your 3 reasons for the Napoleon titles and honours 12 marker?
