MUD, SID, RED - Social Exclusion HELP! Watch

Hello, I'm currently studying for an MA in Youth & Community Work. I'm writing an assignment on Youth Homelessness and Social Exclusion. In lectures we've been taught about RED, SID and MUD and also structure, agency and the third way but I'm confused about what it all means in terms of social policy approaches. I understand that RED and the third way 'go together' and so do MUD & agency, and SID & structure. But I don't understand properly what they are separately (theories, approaches?) and what they mean together in relation to my topic. I'm going to be focusing on changes in housing policy and welfare changes for homeless people between 1940 - present day. Any ideas appreciated?! Thank you

I think red stand or radical way of youth work facilitating young people to challenge the system independently, reformist and I cannot remember the other. They all RED SID MUD is about the type of youth services which works for the government to remove youth out of the street and tick boxes and radical is to facilitate fight against oppression.
