The Student Room Group

Record number of students taking study drugs, what is the point? (please read)

Why do 1 in 5 students in the UK want to enhance their performance to the max to get better grades, when they won't be able to carry on this performance once they get a job, unless they spend all their money on study drugs and become an addict.

Do these people not think about how they will cope in the future when they have got a graduate job? Or are they planning to stay addicts for life?

Whats this obsession with these people getting a high paid job and earning more money than they really need?

Surely its not that bad getting a 2:2, and doing a less demanding job. A third, however, is a fail and shows you haven't turned up to class much or put that much effort in (unless you have part-time work or experience with it whilst at uni).
