    Hi everyone,

I have been offered a place on a PGCE starting in September. My lecturer at university at the moment has also suggested that I do an MA in my degree subject by part-time distance learning.

Just wondering if this would be manageable given the workload of a PGCE?

I would only be doing one double module at masters level as the course part-time is over three years.

    Thanks

I think you'd burn out - the PGCE is a big consumer of your time. it will have masters units in it anyway, so why not pick the the remaining masters credits the year after?
