Is studying economics in uni worth it? What careers does it lead to, careers which directly require an economics degree i mean. Really unsure of what to do, i really dont want to spend another three years in uni only to end with a 22k job, seems like a waste of time. Im set to get an AAA for a levels in maths economics and politics.
Also there seems to be lots of different forms of economics, i.e. eco with statistics eco with politics pure eco etc, which is the best one?

I would say that it's only worth studying economics at uni (for all degrees for that matter) if it's a good university (Russell Group or above). Yes there's lots of variations you can take, but the general consensus is that single honours (straight econ) is the best because it goes most in depth, whilst the others do not but are more broad. However, you may enjoy multiple honours and in that case it would be wise to take a mixture of subjects and get the best of both worlds.
