MA Theory and Practice of Translation
Is anyone able to give their opinion on the translation MA at SOAS?
I recently received an offer for this program and am trying to decide between schools. Currently my top two schools are SOAS and Leeds. I'll be translating between Japanese and English.
I'd love to hear about the Practical Translation modules and about how much of the MA is practical vs. theoretical. Anything you might know about the program would be much appreciated (related to my language pair or not)

Sorry I can't answer your question but I was looking at these MA programmes for my future so am just following the thread. Hopefully someone will answer for us :P
