Categorising Texts & Gender Theory

I've got my AS-Language exam on Wednesday! Can anybody give me some last minute pointers?! Our teacher never finished teaching us Language & Power or Language & Technology, so I'm stuck with Gender! Do you have to refer to the critics each point you make? And for CT, can I just make 2 groupings, as opposed to 3, which I struggle to get written? Please help!

Heyy I am doing that exam too. I've just revised Gender and Power. I hope the gender Q is easy and a transcript.

No you don't have to always back your point by a theory but it is useful to get the extra marks. Just mention whether the text supports the theory or undermines it.

And for CT it is better to make two groupings than three. It's about quality not quantity.
