Hey guys! Just wanted to make clear that my school does offer Edexcel exams before I start introducing my case.
So basically I take my exams through the CIE board (Cambridge International Examinations). I am doing Maths, Physics, Chemistry, English, Spanish and Applied ICT as As levels (well I've technically finished them as I'm in the middle of my exams). I have decided that I would like to do Further Maths next year, but my school doesn't offer it. Instead, I will self-teach myself the subject with help from my father (who is an engineer). I was wondering. Do you guys recommend me doing Further Maths with CIE or with Edexcel? I have done the Cambridge P1 and S1 which is equivalent to C1, C2 and S1 Edexcel. My school does offer Edexcel subjects (although we have removed almost all of them, it's basically CIE but offering the chance to do Edexcel exams). Do you recommend me on teaching myself the CIE syllabus or doing the Edexcel syllabus? CIE FM is independent of Maths, but I believe in Edexcel you have to combine FP1, FP2 and FP3 with applied modules? IF I chose to do Edexcel, how would I take the exams given I do Maths with another board? Thanks
